Preston "Pete" Peterson positively ruled Mainland surfing during the 1930's.
Recognized amongst his fellow surfers as the country's best surfer, Peterson
won the Pacific Coast Surfing Championships four times out of ten (1932, 1936,
1938 and 1941).
